and now for something totally different. i just spent about 2 hours laughing at videos of people who had gone down the proverbial rabbit hole. the more i watched the curiouser and curiouser they became. all of the characters in this wonderland were videotaped after having their wisdom teeth removed. unicorns seem to be a common bi-product of whatever is in the “drink me” bottle at the dentist office. thankfully, i had my wisdom teeth taken out many years ago, before youtube. my experience was more like alice when she cried her pool of tears. they told my husband i was just fine and already to go, and he could pick me up at the back door. we figured out pretty quickly why we saw the patients go in to get their procedure done…but they never came back out. i was bawling when my husband came to get me in the “back room” and i cried pretty much non-stop for the next 5 hours. they neglected to tell me that crying or laughing is a side effect of the drugs they use. i didn’t know what was the matter with me! a friend of ours had his wisdom teeth removed and on the way home his 4 year old son asked his mom, “did they take daddy’s brains out too?” so if you’ve got some time…and you’ve already had your wisdom teeth taken out, enjoy!
