this sweet little video says exactly how i feel about art and blogging. i want to share my thoughts and my art with others, but then i think…does anyone care? would it make a difference if i did…or didn’t? i know from experience that what we do, say and think does make a difference. there’s been many times that i’ve said something that i didn’t think was all that important but someone else heard it and because it was important for them, at that moment, it made an impact. same goes for me, something that someone says will inspire me and they’ll never know that they were the force behind something that i did. i also know that creating this blog is something that i really want to do, in fact this website has been sitting here waiting for me for 2 years! there’s got to be a reason for that…right? if i don’t follow through and create the site i’ve dreamed about, no one else will know or care, but i’ll always know. as the song says, i want to plant seeds, i want to inspire. maybe what i have to understand is that it’s ok to plant seeds just for me, to inspire just me and that’s ok. because even if i do just that, it will make a difference.

I just want to say that I totally catch your drift with this post. That song is really perfect. I may have to refer to it and you over on my blog. I’ve started a series called “Living Colors” to sort of talk about this process. I hope the have the first installment up in the next week. It’s hard when you have something in you and you don’t know where to go with it!
